NX-60 Will not run from battery

I've tried switching batteries, but my NX-60 will only run while in the cradle. As soon as I place it in the cradle the green light turns on or the light just comes off. I never get the amber charging light. Any suggestions? I changed the battery with another NX-60 Clie battery that was fully charged, and it still would not work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

check the battery contacts, I think you are not able to connect it at all.
