Does anybody have any comments on which brand is best for Compact Flash. I got a few 256mb cards at great prices after rebates (check out ecost.com). I'm gonna sell a couple on ebay and I wanted to keep one of them.
I have one from Smart Modular, one from Simpletech (from amazon.com), and one from Kingston. I think the simpletech may have a Lifetime limited warranty as opposed to a five year warranty on the others though some reviews on Amazon say they're [Simpletech] not good. Which is best?
[I've seen concerns about SD cards and there is a whole website with different models and their respective failure rates. I don't know if the same is true of Compact Flash. On that website, the Simpletech SD cards seem to be the best- they didn't have the others' problems. Smart Modular is not mentioned. Again, I don't know if the same is true of Compact Flash.]
