Hi,

I did a search and didnt find anything so I am just putting the question out. I have a UX50 and its a great machine, but for reasons because of work I have to get a Pocket PC. Looking at the Dell Axim and think I am going to go for it. I was just wondering though, can I have both handhelds sync to the same computer?

Also I noticed that most PPC only got to 320x240 resolution????? Lol I will miss my UX screen lol.

Sorry for being such a newb but Ive always been a palm/SOny guy so the PPC world is like women to me, A foreign and mysteriousland (until the first encounter :D)

Both devices can syn to the same computer easy. Each can access outlook to get your pim information. There are some issues with contact information such as less field options on the palm vs ppc. I have had both for a long time. I sell electronics so it is not only a toy factor to have both, but also a selling point that I can sell to whatever the customer whants or is leaning to.
You probably will miss the ux screen for documents if you can read the small text. The ppc can be held in portrait mode though and is probably a little more usefull for quickly pulling out to get information rather than enter it. I have a tosh e 805 with 480 by 640 resolution and it can't be beat for viewing webpages, infact there are many programs native to ppc that will work as long as you install "resolution swapper" by deez on the brighthand website forums. The ux though has many other features such as the camera and the viedeo recorder. Gets better battery life as well.
Since I have had many models of both platforms I can say that ultimetly now we can do just about any thing on one platform as the other. You will probably want other software that enhances the ppc such as AGENDA FUSION to get better pim functionality. I personally love icons which on the ppc they are few and far between.
