While "playing" with the SJ22/TJ35 at both CompUSA and Circuit City yesterday, I noticed a great disparity in screen (tap) sensitivity amongst the 4 Sony machines at the 2 stores - and vs. a tested T2.
The Palm device screens seemed more sensitive. Is this observation mostly true - or do they also vary greatly machine-to-machine?
The main area of difficulty was in getting the virtual keyboard / Decuma writing area to 'pop up.' I was successful most times in tapping - rather hard - on the '123' screen, but not on tapping the 'a.' On the T2 - just a quick light tap on either side did the trick.
As I am not yet an owner of a PDA (this week for sure, though), I'd like to ask owners/users if this " tap responsiveness" (for lack of a better term) is configurable in preferences - or are you stuck with whatever sensitivity your receive from the get-go?
Thanks in advance for your responses to this question. Tobor
