I used another model of palm for a couple of years before getting my SJ30. Intellisync annoys me because I want to synchronize the files between outlook and my palm.

I do not have the option to synchronize w/o one overwriting the other or having to answer an annoying popup box asking me to accept the changes.

Can I switch to Chapura to sync? Is there a problem this would cause?

Thanks.

No problem using Chapura. I made the switch almost immediately once I say how annoying it was to use Intellisync.

I use PocketMirror Pro and it is great. With the Pro version, you can sync the categories on the Clie to subfolders in outlook. I highly recomment it.

That's what I use and it hasn't failed to impress me yet.

USE GOOGLE.

And you can't download it, you have to buy it.

I swtiched back to Chapura for the same reason. I used the copy that came with my Handera and it works fine.

Here is the link to Chapura.  You can find the link to their PocketMirror product on their front page.

I happily use IntelliSync, especially since I need to sync with both Lotus Notes and Outlook. I've found it easy to use and highly configurable.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but IS has options to remember how you want to handle these things, and then those boxes don't pop up anymore. Just uncheck or check depending on your desired actions.

Okay so now that I want to use PocketMirror instead of intellisync how do I go about installing? If I install PocketMirror, will it uninstall intellisync? How will my palm know to use PocketMirror?

Thanks.

I uninstalled intellisync and installed PocketMirror. I guess I'm just more familiar with it, and it works for me...

Hherbzilla,

Do you have IntelliSync Lite or the full version?
When I talked to the tech support at IntelliSync they said that the only way you can disable the annoying question is by upgrading.

IntelliSync Lite is the version that came "free" with my SJ30.
