I know I may already have the answer to this, but I know you can sync with multiple computers (like at home and work). What I'd like to know is if there is a limit to the number of computers one can HotSync with? The reason why I ask is I work in a call center type environment where I sit at a different cube everyday. I'd love to set it up so I could sync with the computer I'm sitting at, and move around without any problems. Anyone else try this out and have an answer to my question? Thank you!

You need to pick one of the machines and call it your primary PC. Put your palm desktop files on there and then use network hotsync from all the other PCs which will hotsync across the network to your primary PC.

Remember that Palm Desktop and Hotsync Manager are two different applications. I suspect you'll install the whole of Palm Desktop and any conduits you are using on your primary PC, and then just install Hotsync manager on all the others, setting it up with the network address of your primary PC.

Take a look at 'Using Hotsync Manager with a Network' in Hotsync help for more information.

If you install the whole of palm desktop on every PC, you would end up with your files duplicated across every machine you use, but with differences depending upon which one you last used. Trying to find the latest version to restore the clie in the event of a hard reset would be a nightmare!

Thank you for the idea and information. As for backing up files, I use a Memory Stick solely for that purpose. I will try some of your suggestions out.
