Memory Stick Question

I just bought a Sony Memory Stick Pro (Magic Gate) 256 MB. what is the best way to write to it, I'm mainly iterested to put some music on it, My conection between Clie and PC does not work? I typically use  USB Memory reader/writer, but my current USB Reader does not subpport MS Pro?    What is the best way to do this,. eager to hear from somebody on this topic? In advance Thanks

I think you're in a tough spot for if you can't use MS or Data Import because your connection doesn't work and your reader doesn't read ms pro.

Those are the only methods I've ever used to get mp3s on my ms and cf.

Maybe someone else is aware of another method.

If you have ir or bt capabilities, I believe there may be a program the will allow you to ir or bt to the ms now "Magic file" http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=33911 This may be an option.

As I've discovered to my cost, MSpro memory sticks are supported by my NX73 but the Sony Sonic stage programme doesnt. So you can write mp3's but not ATRAC files to MSpro. Also I believe only the NX73 & NX80 support MSpro out of the box, for other clie's you have to download the driver to allow the clie to recognise the MSpro media.

well you can always shell out 70 bucks for a sony memory stick reader, then you're guarenteed to have no problems with any memory stick..........or so they want you to think.

oh and by the way if you have a hard reset and you have backed up your stuff onto the memory stick, it erases the pro update, so you're basically screwed unless you carry a normal memory stick with you..........
