When i first got my UX i could run it with the screen basically vertical and the keyboard flat, using the stylus..

After using it a lot the screen hinge has got, well, much looser.. Is this normal? It gradually slides open as i use the stylus until it's in fully open position.. It's not like i needed to use it in that layout anyway.. I was just wondering. :)

I imagine any clamshell device loosens to some degree, this is the first one I've really had..

It's normal, a lot of the tapping you do is at the top of the screen where the menus are, and it puts a lot of pressure on the hinge.

Ha! Thanks.. Good idea, hadnt thought of that.. DOH. :D

How about a slightly wonky screen? any way to fix that while we're at it? I know it's pretty much par for the course with clamshell gadgets, but a hell of a lot of people are having that problem.. maybe tightening the screws will fix that too..?

Mine's very fractionally crooked. The screen tilts left slightly when closed, basically. By just less than a millimeter probably.. But I notice these things.. :) It's not really something I could send it back for is it? 'please replace/repair my clie, the screen is 1mm away from being straight - it's quite noticable when shut.' Hmm.

ed: np, i fixed that.. I notice yoyoyoo and others had similar issues.. although mine tilts the other way to his did i think.. I notice a lot of people have had the problem actually, on a more thorough search.. Making me feel a lot better about it, lol.
