New to Movie please help!

Hi all,

I have been using the NX for a while and used to have the NR. But I am new to this movie "business". Can someone enlighten me as to what I need to do with the movie files? Where to put them? And could you explain the differences between all the extensions?

You will need something to convert the movies to a format the palm can understand. Alot of people here use kinoma producer to make them but its not free software. Also you should go to kinoma's web site for a listing of files it can understand. VirtualDub and tmpgenc are good programs for changing formats.

Once you have created your files you put them in the Palm/Programs/gmedia folder and then load the kinoma view program into your palm to view them.

I can almost guarantee that you'll have more questions about converting and such, but this should get you started.
