I can't find this info in the manuals. I sure wish the full manual was given in paper form...

Anyway, all programs I transfer are on the "Handheld". I tried moving them to "Internal Media", but then their icon on the Launcher doesn't show up?

Shouldn't all the programs be put on Internal Media? I'm talking if you don't have a Memory stick.

How does one get the program to show up through the Launcher?

if youre talking about the default launchers then you have to switch to the category of the memory stick.

make sure the programs are stored in \PALM\LAUNCHER\

I'm not using a memory stick. The files are under Handheld, and I want to transfer to Internal Media. but want their icon to show up under the 3D launcher

yea the internal memory is just like a memory stick, just put the program files in the
\PALM\LAUNCHER\

directory on the int. media.

Easier way if you dont want to mess with CLIE Files.

You can use the install tool to specify the destination media and select internal media from there, and it will be put in the proper directory for you automatically.

When I add programs to install, some only show Memory stick...?? and when I try to change destination, it won't let me? why is this?

What do you mean it won't let you change the destination? Are the options greyed out on the destination selector?

When I click to change the location, change to Internal media or Handheld, then click okay, it still reads memory stick. (has the little memory stick symbol to the right)

Well, you inadvertantly answered my question in your other thread. I guess I DO have the wrong install client installed. Well, I'll go reinstall that and see if I can get either one of your questions answered.

I'm just using Palm Desktop for Clie, to install programs.
