You can use the IR port to connect via your mobile phone although this is not very fast and you'll need to load the drivers for your specific phone on to the NZ.
If you sync to your PC via USB than you can use Softick PPP which lets you utilise the interned connection on your PC. This might give you an idea of how the Web and email packages will work on the NZ. http://www.synclive.com/
Personally I would invest in Wi-Fi (the WL100 rather than the WL110, but both work equally as well).
Hope this helps

First, make sure your cellular service offers a data connection. Then you can go to www.thesupplynet.com and match your phone to the NZ90 and get a data cable. Worked well for me, but didn't like having to carry around the cable. I upgraded to a bluetooth phone (Sony T610) and like it much better. But, either method should work.

eliminate cables...that's what IR, BT, wi-fi are for....it'll be slower but you don't have to walk around with a suitcase full of hardware
