Hey all. I am currently a TG50 owner and am thinking of taking the plunge and getting the UX50. Prices have come down enough that the UX50 is looking pretty attractive. Here is what attracts me to the UX50 over the TG50:
-WIFI 802.11b
-Form Factor
-More Memory
-New processor architecture
-Palm audio API
-Camera and video recorder
-Bigger Keyboard
Questions:
I have read from current owners that the WIFI performance is actually quite slow. Is that just the device itself taking time to process/reformat web pages? WIFI is the killer app for me, so whether or not this actually works well is a major consideration. I am not expecting it to be the same as surfing wirelessly from a laptop, but is it close at all?
How is the battery life? Just the standard battery, not the extended.
How is the MP3 playback with non-Sony audio players i.e. Pocket Tunes or Aeroplayer?
What is the resolution of the camera? How is the quality of the movies?
I will probably have more questions, but i can't think of any more right now.
