As a member here, I still cannot make sense of why unregistered people can start a forum.

Does anyone know why/feel the same way?

Its annoying at times. Some of the reg`d members threads have annoyed me more. Most of the time it seems to work out okay. I certianly liked being able to start, post & reply to threads before I became a member.

This has probably been tried before, but...

It's been tried. It seems the admins really want unregistered's to have the abilty to post and start threads, no matter the opinion of the ClieSource members.
