http://www.cliesource.com/gallery/data/500/27059lficons.png I have updated my hand created icon set (high-density icons only and were assembled in Icon Manager for use when running Handy Shopper and vb3hack with Agendus) and posted the set on my website.
In addition I have updated the logos and software set with the other applicable icons I have and posted them in the same place.
Feel free to download any of these sets that you like. Hope you enjoy.

Great icons. But how to get Agendus recognize them?
Thanks

Great icons. But how to get Agendus recognize them?
You need to move your new icons into your existing icon set for Agendus. This can be done with a program such as Icon Manager. A free version, with a few limitations, can be downloaded in many of the icon packs on PalmGear. The full version, is only $5.95 and is well worth the price.
If you need help with using Icon Manager say so and I can send you instructions on how to move icons around.
Icon Manager can be found at PalmGear here (http://palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&sid=7C6128A1-3DB7-46EA-AFD3C2A7A2C57EB9&prodID=47054) .

I think you may want to post your collection on the IconManager Yahaoo Group:

I have already mentioned your collection and it seems to be very much appreciated.

I really like these icons. Thanks for making them. But - I am having a wee problem.
When I use the icons in Datebook5 I find that they all have either a purple or a green background to them. Is this just me? Is there something I can do to get rid of the background? Or a setting I need to change?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

I am currently have Agendus and Handyshopper on my Clie, but not Datebk5. I loaded Datebk5 and the icons on a Clie Simulator and they appear to work fine.
If you are looking at the icons in a icon editor they will have a pink or green background. This color is transparent and will not show up in Datebk5. Otherwise, let me know what handheld you have. I will either load a trial of Datebk5 on my handheld, or play with the simulator for your handheld, and see if I can recreate what you are talking about.

Thanks for your response. Actually, for me, things are working in the opposite way. When I look at the icons in IconMgr, they have a transparent background. When I look at them in Datebook 5 they have the pink or green background!
I have a T665c and am running Datebk 5 v 5.1a.
I appreciate your looking into it - and, again, thanks for your work. I reloaded some of your old icons, but you have some nice ones in this new set that I would love to use.
Cheers,
Burdie

I did not make myself clear. I only see the background colors when in the edit mode of Icon Manager.

I loaded the icon sets into a trial copy of Datebk5, on my T665, and see what you are talking about. I am not an expert on the subject but it appears to me that 16-bit icons, Datebk5, and OS4 do not play nice with each other. Converting the icons to 256 colors seems to fix the problem. The transparent colors do not now show up in Datebk5.
I added a 256 color version (these icons end with a 256 in each zip file) of the icons to the icon, logos, and software icon sets, and uploaded them to my website.
I believe this will solve your problem. Let me know if it does not fix your problem.

Would love to use these great-looking icons but my Clie T-615C crashes when I try to open them in dbIcon+. Any idea what the problem is?
Just did a search on dbicon+ and found this thread (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8813&highlight=dbicon) that may answer your problem.

Look at the thread Dan pointed out.
From the dbIcon+ Manual:
Sony Clie Users: you need to disable the high-resolution assist feature for dbIcon+ as there is a flaw in the implementation
of the high-resolution assist feature that interferes with dbIcon+. If you do not do that, the work area will
not properly display the icon.
With V-5.0a, DateBk5 now also supports the use of from 1-255 color or grayscale icons in a 10x9 bitmap format and 256 colors (or 1,4 or 16 grays).
Two other points:
1. Today I added 256 color sets to the zipped file downloads.
2. You can download a free version of Icon Manager (a great Icon Manager that many people use), with a few limitations, in many of the trial icon sets at PalmGear.
If you still are having trouble let me know and I will play around with dbIcon+ to see if I can figure out what is wrong.

Leslie, Dan,
Thanks for the advice. Icon Mgr did the trick, and the icons look terrific. Will let you know if I have any problems fiddling with the program. Again, thanks for responding.

You did a great job on the icons. They are awesome and I am using them on my device. I wonder if anyone knows where I can get a icon set that includes letters and numbers.

Here you go. They are more of a starter set than a finished product. You may want to use Icon Manager to customize them to your needs

Nice icons.
But when I want to use them in Agendus on my Clie they are not shown. As I understand I will have to prepare the iconset with Icon Manager (installed). How to do this?

Agendus uses a icon set with the default name that begins with "Iambic" or "AGIcons", depending on which version you have. All of your icons that you want to show up in Agendus needs to be put here (The execption, Icon Manager, will allow you to have choose any icon set to be your default icon set). The easy way to to this is with a icon manager on your handheld. I am currently using Icon Manager which can be downloaded from PalmGear (http://palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&sid=0B552720-707A-4ED5-9D40736BD5AAE03E&prodid=47054&searchtitle=Best%20Sellers&area=home.home) , as shareware for $5.95.
How to Use Icon Manager:
1. Start-up Icon Manager. You should see the iconsets you have installed on your handheld.
2. Tap any iconset. You should now see the icons.
3. If you like an icon, tap on it to highlight.
4. You can then use the copy and paste menu commands to transfer icons between icon files.
When using Icon Manager be careful about renumbering the Icon ID numbers (do not worry, you have to specifically choose this option). Agendus records the Icon ID number to show which icon to display and changing the Icon ID will cause a different icon to appear. What this means is that if you are already using icons you probably want to copy the icons out of any new set into the set you are currently using.
I hope this helps. If you have any more questions let me know.

I have updated the software icon set with more icons and have edited some of the icons to make them look better on darker backgrounds. The set now has 127 icons.
