have you installed the drivers?

And also, have the SSID setup and maybe the places you're accessing has WEP and Mac Filtering

yes yes, ive done all that, and when i press "connect" it just stays in "connecting wireless...." and it stays that way until "timeout"

so what could the problem be????

You don't say anything on your settings...

When you press on "connect" the two lights start blinking, well it's searching for any access point. It stays on solid once it finds one and can talk to. Do you get this far?

Need more input..........

What are you trying to connect to?
This card only supports 802.11b
What settings do you have?
Is the device you are connecting to using security?

etc..etc

my settings?? which settings? all that wep address stuff and all those things? i did! its all filled up!
and about the lights, well....no, i never really go as far as the led lights to stay solid, they just blink the whole time it tries to connect.
well, i try to connect to telus in canada.
i havent really checked how many Bs this devices have, so thats probably it.
on the setup what i have is:
profile name, network id (SSID), WEP, KEY, connect mode:infrastructure, and in "advanced setup" i have it all set to auto and enable

so nope, im still not sure what the problem could be

What do you mean with "I try to connect to telus in canada"? You aware that you need a Wireless router first.
If you mean have Telus as your ISP, lets not jump ahead and get to the WAN problem. Let see if it can connect to Network.

Does your wireless router has DHCP enabled, is MAC Filtering on and does your WEP key match?

I don't mean to sound smart here but you need to know the basics here... and maybe do a bit of homework

First,
If the light keeps blinking, that usually means there are no access points nearby. Or it can't handshake with them.

Second, this is the first time I hear Telus having wi-fi service in Canada. Are you sure??? I know Bell is experimenting with some limited hotspots but it's not a service to subsrcibe to yet. Bell has their trials in train stations and some airports, etc...
