Syncing Address Book with Outlook

I saw an earlier thread regarding problems syncing addresses from Outlook into the Palm software on the Clie. I'm using version 4.1, and Outlook 2000. The bottom line seemed to be that Intellisync Lite does not allow multiple address types, as Outlook does (business, home, other).

I wanted to double check, since I otherwise like Intellisync Lite. Is it true that you can only sync one address listing? If I pop for the $40 for the full version, will I absolutely be able to sync all addresses? Anyone that has upgraded want to share their experience?

The full version won't do anything for you because the Palm Addressbook database structure does not support multiple addresses.  What you need is KeyContacts from Chapura.  It is a PalmOS app that syncs with Outlook and supports the full Outlook database.  Beware that your palm address database is then cut loose and you're then using KeyContacts, which looks pretty nice on the surface.  I'm committed to some other 3rd party addressbook software like Contacts Pro from Mobimate, so I decided not to go the $24 fpr KeyContacts at this point.  http://www.chapura.com/keycontacts.php

Hmmm...I sync to Outlook 2000 and have my contacts categorized by Business, Personal, etc with no problem.

Could you please instruct me on how you have your Intellisync set up? I too have seperate folders (Business Contacts/Personal Contacts, Business Notes/Personal Notes, etc.)

For the life of me, I can't figure it how. I have all of my data in Outlook 2000 and am trying to import it into my CLIE T-615. When I sync, all the data is transferred, but it is placed in the "Unfilled" category in the CLIE.

I did go into the configuration of the Intellisync desktop and mapped the folders that I needed to. It will not work for me though, and I'm obviously doing something wrong.

I have read the help files in Intellisync, and have been on the support section of Pumatech's website with no luck. Please help!!!!
