I posted this in the NX forum as well. Desperate for info..

I'm a stupid Newbie. I LOVE the Clie, although it was a long, hard road getting here from Newton. But I need help:

My question is simple: How do I turn off (and on again when wanted) the graffiti window? I want it GONE. Full screen for my apps (I realize some won't run full screen)

I want to be able to write anywhere on the Clie with Graffiti, but want to turn off that darned window when I don't want it. Like a Newton...

HELP? PLEASE?

Other questions, if you are feeling generous:

Anyone use their Clie in Landscape Mode? (again, like a Newton) HOW??

Any former Newton users out there who've already been down this road and can save me a million hours of research? Tips? Tricks?

Thanks in advance!!

Will

In general, turning off the VG (vitrual graffitti) area depends on the software. If the software supports "HiRes+" then it means when you run that software you have the ability to toggle the VG on and off.

Sounds like you have an NR. If that's the case, the native Launcher does not support this (all NR owners have suffered from this idiotic decision by Sony), but you can install other 3rd party launchers such as ZLauncher, Yi Show, Launcher X, etc. that does support HiRes+. The NX default launcher does support this.

As for the Landscape mode, I don't know any of the launchers support that.

Hope that helps :)
