the last couple days i keep getting this Fatal Alert on my NX, causing me to hard reset.

Fatal Alert
WindowPatches.c, Line:1080, can't change depth when draw state pushed

It is really starting to annoy me. It has caused me to hard reset at least a half a dozen times in the last 2 days. I tried restoring from backup on the memory stick but still seemed to keep getting this error, so i then i try to reinstall each app manually. Still seem to keep getting this problem every so often. I am not even sure what i am doing wrong before the soft reset to get this fatal error. any tips?

I have been getting the same fatal alert. I also had to hard reset - several times.

I had to manually re-install applications until I found one that cauased the fatal alert. I am not sure which is the problem yet (BankBook 4, TTXFonts). I also have a few that I have not yet re-installed.

Are you still getting the alert?

I got it when I tried to install the demo of that XForce from toysoft.

I didn't have to do a hard reset because if you do a UP Arrow while reseting it basically skips all the boot up apps. Changed my memo pad button to CLIE Files and deleted it. Did a soft reset and I was back to normal.

Maybe unrelated, but the Up arrow while reseting has saved me a few times.

That is what normally is refered to as a WARM RESET. On the NX, hit crtl-H and then select Clie Files.
