Fatal Exception!

Help!

My new NR70V was sitting on the cradle with the "todo list' showing. Next time I looked its got fatal alert -fatal exception on in with a reset button at bottom. It doesnt reset though as the screen is locked. cant even turn it off.
Whats the best advice? - wait till the battery runs out?? Or do I try pushing the tiny reset button at the back? I guess this loses everything on it but then will back up from the computer? A bit annoying though? Any reasons??

Push just the reset button...that will do a soft reset and you shouldn't lose any data.

Do you mean the reset button on the fatal exception screen. If so cant cos the screens locked up! Or do you mean the reset hole on the back side of the Clie??
