I loaded up DVDx for the first time on my laptop. I'm running Windows 2000 on it. When I try and run DVDx, I get the error below:

"The ordinal 11 could not be located in the dynamic link library DSOUND.DLL"

Could the reason be that I have an old version of DirectX Ver7. I read some of the literature and it says that I should run it with at least a version 8. I've downloaded version 9 today....a whopping 32meg at work today, and will install it when I get home tonight.

Yup! That's the problem. I know that when I ran DVDxCopy it wouldn't even accept DirectX8, I had to install 9. That should fix any problems you have (and I hope it does; 321 Studios' support is less than desirable).

SORTED!! That indeed was the problem. But I now have other issues to resolve. I managed to get DVDx to work and started ripping Bad Boys II. After about 1 hour I got this error message:

"MPEG2Dec: Errour during input file."

I probably suspect its something to do with the DVD and not the software. But the 1 hour that did manage to rip looked amazing.

Also another problem I have is that the dialogue does not sync with the movie and the result looks like a badly dubbed 80s martial arts movie. Remember them? I'm sure I'll get the solution here any. But if anyone knows the solution please help.
