MoviePlayer Freezes when playing from CF (Fix?)

When playing MQV movies from CF...if I jump with the time slider, my screen freezes.  Is there a fix for this?

Only thing I do is to pull my CF out and insert it back in.  The movie will start from the beginning.

I did try stopping the movie, adjust the time slider and then press play.  It works...but only once per interval.  Then I have to eject my CF card again and reset movieplayer....sigh*

I have no idea of why it freezes, but thanks, because your post saved me some trial and error with stopping/ starting from CF.

I do have a question about video freeze:

I converter DVD to an avi file and it worked in my Kinoma, but totally froze when processed through IC. I got a great still image but it didn't play in Movie Player. I took it through Virtual Dub and got a much larger file, then took it through IC to make it smaller. The new file played in my Movie player, but is of course, much bigger than the original that I ran through Virtual Dub.

On another post a guy had image freeze problems and I suggested Virtual Dub for the video portion.
Another user has suggested that he decompress the audio. Do you think audio compression would totally prevent movie from playing instead of audio being out of sync?

If so, I’ll re-dub my movies by just changing the audio compression.

I have the same problem. Haven't had time to search the threads as of yet to find out if someone has resolved this dilemma.

Delete ALL preference related to the Movie Player. Don't watch first from MS and then from CF!

I think it has something to do with the filsize or compression because, I know exactly what you are talking about but It doesn't give this problem with all my mqv's only a few particular ones.

Frankly said, I have my doubt's about the minipatch - about the CF-functionallity, but I'm not quite sure, what it might be. Therefore I wanna have the Movieplayer 1.1, since I believe this should fix the problem finally. But, that's only a guess.
