I initally used the freeware VFSi, on my wifes SJ22 and it works
OK with Jpegs. I tried Resco Viewer and it is a lot better so I finally registered it. It can also view PowerPoint which is just great. The human factors in using it are what made my final decision. Very pleased with it so far.

I'd say try out both Resco and AcidImage.  There's trials available for both from Palm Gear and the such.  I prefer Acid Image's interface, but I won't get into the particulars of each, because there's been some heated debate over that in previous threads, like this one...

(try doing a cliesource search for "best image viewer Acid Image Resco for even more heated debate)

Hi,

I've got a somewhat related problem with viewing pics on my sj22... My friend beamed me something he took with his nx80, and I can see it fine with acidimage, but I am having trouble moving it to my computer via memory stick! It ends up being a .pdb file which cannot be viewed. This sj22 does appear capable of viewing jpgs directly off the stick from the dsc-p52 I own.

Also, those pictures on internal card (with extension *.jpg) from the nx80 can't be viewed from pg pocket nor resco... please help.

how do you view pictures off your p52? i have the same camera, and viewing pics on mine is easy enough, but what do you use to see the images from the camera?

Orincarnia,

Even PG Pocket is able to view the photos taken with the camera. Just pop in the stick, load PGPocket and choose MS then DCF. The resolution is not great so I use Resco instead.

Speaking of Resco I have figured out how to move a beamed pic onto the memory stick on sj22. There is no "Clie Viewer" program to export jpgs, but I can drag and drop it to the stick in Resco.

I happen to like Resco now because of its seamless integration with ZLauncher - you wouldn't even know it was a separate program unless you installed it ...

I have a P-72, which I guess has the same file system as the P-52 and I can't get PGPocket to find the pix on the cameras MS. If I use the PG converter, no problem. Or if I use JPEG Show I can view straight from the camera stick. I've tried your method but no go. What am I missing?

well switch the save folder in the camera, give it a directory that pgpocket can read, thats my assumption and thats what i'm going to try and adrianas pda on tuesday

I am a big fan of Documents to go ver 6. In one software bundle you get a Powerpoint and JPEG viewer, and a great micro version of Word (which also reads .pdf files), and Excel. The programs will support the high resolution 65k color of the CLIE's also.

I doubt it, you should be able to get 5.1, 5.2 etc for free as they are mainly just patches..but the main upgrade of the program you almost always have to purchase. DataViz is usually very good about upgrading you for a discounted price as you are a previous customer. You can contact them through their website at www.dataviz.com
