NJL!2016 is right, I hit over 470KB/sec, but my problem is I can't view a single one! Every file is bad by the time I try to view it.

988 KB/sec should only display as .988 MB/sec (and the main ime you get speeds higher than that is when you upload a file to yourself, lol)

Kinoma uses an entirely different format.

It costs money and takes a long time to convert files to Kinoma.

When you download the file, it will be in .MQV format. Just rename it to .MOV. Ex. MOV00002.MQV>MOV00002.MOV.

The owner, also runs a separate site called Happypalm.com and he graciously allowed me to host the movies off his server there since he is also a Clie fan!

I recorded the Victoria's Secret Fashion show.

The raw MPEG1 file is over 3GB!

I still need o cut out the commercials and then do some compression and editing before I let IC have a look at it.

I am thinking probably Saturday before I have it ready to upload.

I do believe you are limited to Kinoma with your CLIE.

Movie Player *.MQV will only work on OS5 machines.

BTW, may I make a request? I saw this really cool teaser trailer when I went to see Master and Commander for "The Day After Tomorrow". If you could convert that to at least MQV format (source trailer at Apple's Quicktime site), that would be great :)

Thanks Nick. Any idea then, why I can't get any of your videos to play? As I stated in a earlier post, so far all of the ones from Kinoma, Sony, GeekGod, etc. work fine, but you have the content I want! I refuse to give up.

BTW as also stated in an earlier post, I have the capability of near 1Gb/sec downloads. I don't think the file transfer is an issue.
After pressing play, the upper left screen area shows about 20 or so pixels black, and the rest of the screen is white...SJ33 is 320x320, are your encodings hires+ ?

I recorded 3 SouthPark episodes last night.

The MPEG is over 5 GB!!

I will need to do some compression and cutting to get the files sizes down to reasonable. I hope to have them posted by end of day tuesday, nov. 25th.

Weird, I will investigate that tonight. I thought I had uploaded the file, but maybe I didn't.

I know I've been a pest lately, but the in "Chef: Patent Infringment" episode of South Park, the video pauses about a miniute and a half, and all there is is audio. I don't know if the problem is on my end or what.

Are you using the Sony CLIE MoviePlayer program?

Your Sig indicates SJ33, which I think is OS4 only and thus you could only use Kinoma, which the video is not formatted for.

I downloaded the .mqv files and used data export to copy them onto the media stick in my UX50, but for some reason when i open the movie player i can't see the files. Any ideas?

I renamed the .MQV extention to .MOV and watched it on Quicktime. It works for all the other movies

You would need to get Quicktime Pro to convert the MQVs into an AVI or MOV and then use Kinoma Producer to view on the T3.

I don't really edit per se, just do some cutting to remove the commercials.

NCODAY can you help? I have the new video recorder for the clie. I would like to cut out the commercials. I have quick time pro. When I try to edit it saves the cut as a regular .mov file not the .mqv I need. Do you have any ideas?
