anybody seen this error in their hotsync log?

mine occurs consistently right after calendar sync.

I finally figured that one out last week. If you are using intellisync, during the hotsync when you get the "Confirm # Changes" Dialog, press the "Resync" button instead of "Accept". I think this should fix it. Tell me if it doesnt work.

Cheers for this, its been driving me nuts too. That sorts it, though I now get this in the log:

MS Outlook Calendar synchronization failed
OK MS Outlook Calendar

The sync does seem to be OK, so should I worry about this, or just not bother looking in the log and making myself fret? ;-)

Are you sure that:
- That message is for the most recent hotsync
- The hotsync of the calander is _really_ working in both directions?

I synced on Sept. 16, and I lost nearly everything in the last four months of my calendar. After a little research, I found this error message in the log:

I do not remember seeing any errors during the sync or receiving a message to read the log during the sync, but my calendar is gone.

I cannot find the backup files, and have called my Outlook support - they cannot do anything for me. Is there somewhere to restore these months? Is there a log that has the missing months in it so I can recreate my calendar?

Or am I just out of luck?

Disappearing Calendar

Same thing happened to me, after much research and hair pulling I gave up. I think you are just out of luck.
