My TJ35 battery seems to be on the whack. While using it i see battery flucuations as much as 5%. IE: I will be using the clie and i'll check the battery and one second it will tell me there is 84% left then it will jump to 85% the next second then if i shut it off and i'll use it again in about a half hour my battery is at 90%, is this normal?

I've noticed this behavior with SEVERAL handhelds I've had. Seems to be the norm.

The battery voltage varies with temperature and load, and a handheld warms up as you hold it. And the user visible percentage battery guages are not well calibrated, and usually do not have any temperature compensation. YMMV.

power is also stored in onboard power reserves for the memory and other necessary parts so that you dont have thr rom and ram wiped everytime you shut it off or when the battery dies. it really does not die it just does not allow you to start it untill further power is applied.
