I am using Zlauncher and I initially put the Bdictionary software on the PDA from the SONY CD. I decided I didn't need it so I uninstalled the program by sending it to the trash bin. Unfortunately I cannot get rid of the ikon even though the program is gone. Any suggestions? I have written to Zalauncher without a satisfactory response. The only thing I can think of is to do a hard reset, but I only want to do that as a last resort. I've tried dragging it to the trashbin and that does not do it. I've also tried to delete it through the PC but it does not seem to show up on the MS card. Any suggestions?

restore it then try exiting zl, and deleting it through the default browser. I've had issues deleteing stuff off my memory stick with zl, so that's how I do it.

Thanks for the tip. I tried a hard reset, but surprisingly the extra icons still show on Zlauncher but not on the original SONY/ Palm launcher. I called SONY support and since the icons do not appear on the SONY/ Palm launcher they could not help.

Let me know exactly how you did what you suggested. I tried by going to Preferences which puts me back to the original PALM launcher. Unfortunately it does not show the icons since I deleted the programs! I really don;t know what to do as this seems to be a defect in the Zlauncher program. Maybe I am doing something incorrectly. Please advise.

I once had to actually run an Uninstall program in order to remove apps/icons from my Palm. When viewing the related databases in CLIE Files, see if they have a "lock" icon on them. If so, they might not be removable without some extra work.

Even though you dragged it to the trash, you need to go into the trash view and delete it.

Just try having ZLauncher rescan the device from Menu/Options/Refresh Apps or the refresh tool. If you delete the app from ZLauncher (drag to trash can or select trash can from pull down list, but either deselect Send to trash can in the resultant dialog from the pull down or just empty the trash), it should remove the icon as well.

The only thing that actually worked was to do a hard reset and delete Zlauncher, and then re-install it. That got rid of the icons. Nothing else worked. Thanks, everyone for the advice.
