This may be something obvious that I'm missing, but is it possible to use Decuma with DocsToGo 6?

I have Decuma on my TJ35, and it comes up automatically when I hit the "a" in my silkscreen area in most apps. However, in DocsToGo, hitting the "a" brings up the keyboard.

Is there any other way to activate Decuma?

Hmmm, wierd... I just tried it and it also came up with the keyboard, although other apps work fine.

I bring Decuma up by dragging stylus across bottom bar, both R to L and L to R works rotating through 3 screens.

andrewcoffin, I'm also interested in using Docs to Go 6 with Decuma on a TJ35. What release of Docs to Go 6 were you using? I'd be interested in knowing if you resolved the problem, or if others have been successful. I'd especially be interested in TJ35 owner's but I'd like to hear from others as well on this. Thanks, lan.

Ian-

No, I never figured out how to get Decuma to work with DocsToGo, but I didn't spend much more time with it. My TJ35 was with Sony for a month. When it came back and broke down again, I elected to return the unit to Dell and wait for the new models coming out.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I would think that some solution to this problem exists...

Decuma works fine here with DocsToGo6, both with MSWord, Word to Go and MS Excel.

andrewcoffin, sorry about your problems (and other's too) with the TJ35. Good luck on your next pda!

Wytnucls, thanks for the input.

The problem is that DocsToGo has it's own keyboard...it doesn't use the system keyboard. I'm, frankly, surprised that anyone can get it to work. Did those who got it to work use a version other than the one that came with the PDA? DocsToGo has to display the font/paragraph tools under the keyboard, which is why it is custom.
