O.K., I give up. I've looked through the hardcopy manual, the manual on CD, and Sony's support website. I cannot get any information on how to setup Clie Mail to sync with my Outlook 2002 Inbox on my PC. Perhaps it's because I've been doing this in the wee hours of the morning, I don't know. I've already searched this forum and can't find anything. Maybe the pertinent threads disappeared with the Big Event. Can someone help?
Thanks!

Make sure you have installed the Clie Mail Conduit form the Sony CD, and then go into the hot sync custom and make sure you have selected MS Outlook. Try that!

I am having a problem with clie mail and outlook 2002 also. I read the manual for clie mail that came on the CD. I installed the conduit, set up outlook as default mail client, set up cliemail to synchronize in hotsync, and set up the actual cliemail programs. The problem is i am not getting anything. when i hotsync, it says it syncs the cliemail but then i go in cliemail and there is nothing. i can't figure it out
it asks during the setup if u want to use outlook or sony mail. You need to select outlook to make this work.

I've had no luck with Outlook 2002. I've gotten it to sync (finally), and I use a utility called Express Click-Yes to get passed Outlook's security guard whenever I try to sync send-mail from my clie. This is fine (Click-Yes runs in the system tray), but my emails do not send! When I go to Outlook, I find them sitting in my outbox.
This is a real PITA, because I don't want to have to open outlook and send the emails after I hotsync.
Anyone know of a workaround?
I've tried the Intellisync Pro demo, and it doesn't work with Clie Mail, only the default Palm mail (which of course my NX-70 doesn't have!).
All I want is to be able to access my email (with attachment support) and be able to send Clie emails on sync... doesn't such a program exist?

Don't know if a workaround exists, but I am interested in where I can download Express Click-Yes. Could you provide a URL?
BTW, the first reply to my post worked. In reading a subsequent post, it seems that the installation of the conduit is somewhat problematic. It doesn't always work. You have to go into HotSync, Custom and make sure the conduit was installed AND to make sure it is set for Outlook.

Ya...you got the setup right. Hope it works for you now.
The URL for Click-Yes is http://www.express-soft.com/mailmate/clickyes.html
It's free...and now for the disclamer: just make sure you read all the info about using it (if you leave it enabled, there's the possibility that viruses/etc could use outlook to send out email).
