NX-80 Memory Stick Pro Duo Problem playing ATRAC3

I have a NX-80 with Memory stick pro duo 256MB. ON the stick, it said Magic Gate on it as well. So I tried putting ATRAC3 files in it (converted by the Sonic Stage software came with the Clie) and it wouldn't recognize the file... can't see it, can't play it.

Does anyone know why?

you may need the Atrac update from the Sony Support page. also the MS Pro driver. but to my knowledge, MS Pro sticks WITH MagicGate don't support Atrac files..

Atrac update? Anyway, the MagicGate (Atrac) function is not possible on the Clié with MS (Duo) Pro.

Just throw SonicStage off your computer and use iTunes to rip cds to mp3. iTunes is been discussed here, so do a search ;)

Ic... thx... I am actually using CDex to rip MP-3's, but I found Sonic Stage's CD info fetching function works better most of the time... Maybe i'll try itune sometime too..

Stupid Sony, why doesn't it support MS Pro Duo MG on clie @@ :confused:
