Anyone know of a way? Sony says it's possible but doesn't support it. Anyone have the software?

Per Sony:

Is it possible to transfer images from a computer to a CLIÉ® handheld without using a Memory Stick® media?

It is not possible to transfer images from a computer to a CLIÉ® handheld without using a Memory Stick® media. All current transfer methods available with a CLIÉ® handheld must utilize a Memory Stick® media.

NOTE: It may be possible to transfer images directly to the handheld without the use of a Memory Stick® media using third-party software, but doing so has not been tested, is not recommended, and is not supported by Sony.

I think there is/was a program that coudl section off ram so that it was in FAT and coudl store any file type.

And also CFZap could receive a file of any type throught infrared.

excellent program. Thanks for the info :)

The reason I posted that in the first place was because I was having an issue with getting a jpeg as a background image with SilverScreenIII. Still can't do it, and now pretty sure it can't be done without a mem. stick.

Oh well...at least I got some cool Photo software outta the deal.

Thanks again.
