ive been having problems running certain games (tigerwoods golf, slugs) - when i start them, the image only appears in the upper 1/4 of the screen - i've been told this is possibly due to the hires assist mode, but cant find in prefs how to disable it - any idea what im missing?
thanks,
omar

There is a program called SwitchDash that does this. You can find it here:

Its in Japanese (the website, not the program), but scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and there will be a .zip file

Hires Assist is not available on the NX-series. In part, the thought is that you shouldn't be running old programs under OS5. If the program doesn't deal well with the screen, it may have other problems. Or, it may work OK.
You may want to see if there are OS5 versions of the games you're trying to play.

thanks for the help - i tried switchdash, but, like squeff said, the nx 70 doesnt support it so iot didnt do anything but crash my clie -- so far i have experienced this problem with tiger woods golf, race fever, and slugs -- only the top 1/4 of the screen lights up and it displauys 2 compressed images of the full screen rigth next to each other -- has anyone else experienced this particular problem? is anyone else running these games on a nx70v without problems?
thanks for your help everybody - this forum is great

Yes, Serious Sam also does this(which is REALLY a shame, that would have to be one of the best 3d games for clie).
