Hi all,

At work I've been tasked with migrating an executive's system of using an M105 to a new Clie (don't know which model). Now, both he and his secretary have a cradle. The secretary also has a cradle for her other boss' Visor. As of now, both the Visor and M105 sync to Outlook on her PC via Intellisync where she maintains both boss' calendars and contacts. OK. Having been through this myself (switched from Vx to NR70), is it absolutely necessary to complete uninstall the existing Palm desktop and install the Sony distribution? I mean, is there a way I can force the Sony USB drivers onto the computers so we don't have to do the desktop tango? I want to minimize my possibility for error by elimnating some steps and if I uninstall the Palm desktop, well, there go the 3rd party conduits as well. It's just a pain to set all that up again if I really don't have to.

So...

1) Is there a way to force the Sony USB drivers onto a computer and have hotsync and all your current settings (3rd party conduits, etc) remain intact?

2) Does anyone have experience running a Visor and Clie on the same system?

3) What problems should I expect running both Visor and Sony devices?

4) If I am required to remove Palm desktop, which one do I install first on the secretary's machine (remember, hers is the one with both Visor and Clie cradles) - the Visor desktop, or the Sony version?

Thanks for any and all input,
