You do not need any additional software on the TG50. There is some configuration necessary, but no software.
You do need software/drivers on your computer for the dongle.

Care to share what those settings are or point me in the right direction where that is listed?
My PC and TG50 are paired but when I try to connec through NetFront it attempts to connect but fails.
I'm just looking for help.
Thanks

Try this guide, it worked very nicely for me:

Good luck!

BT is a female dog to get working... However once you get it to work, it is a very nice treat.

Just in case it's of interest... I was having trouble getting Bluetooth Internet to work and it turned out to be ZoneAlarm that was blocking me. It was treating my TG50's attempts to access the net as an outbound intrusion and was blocking it. For anyone else having the same problem, here's how I solved it.
First make sure everything is set up as described at http://www.whizoo.com/bt_setup/ (You need to use your intelligence a bit because he's describing a Tungsten T but basically it's the same).
Then if it's definitely ZoneAlarm that's causing the problem, go to the "Alerts and Logs" screen in ZoneAlarm, and try and access the net using NetFront. You should see an alert message appear that is "outgoing" originating from your TG50's bluetooth name. Right click on this alert, and select to add to trusted zone.
Then you need to go to the Firewall screen and the Main tab in ZoneAlarm, and set Trusted Zone Security to Low. Leave the Internet Zone set to high(!).
Hope this is some help to someone. It took me ages to work out and I couldn't find a thread which described it. Or maybe it's just me being thick and everyone else knew this all along...
Although having gone to the trouble of getting everything working, I find that the range is so poor it only works in the same room as the Bluetooth Dongle anyway. So why I should want to surf the net via BT when I'm in the same room as a PC with broadband is anyone's guess?

well i suggest you get a better bluetooth dongle with a better range. My dongle is 100m and i can more-or-less use the internet on my TG50 all around my house...whilst walking 8-)

what kind of distance and strength are you experiencing?

about 20m max.....which if you think about it is enough to cover most places in an average home, of course in the kitchen there is a lot of interference due to microwaves and fridges etc.
but otherwise anything within 10m range of your pc - either above or below - should reach your clie i should think.
bobbyb,
Which BT dongle are you using?
Which is recommended?
Thanks
