View Full Version : Easiest way to get free copies of MobileDB and Novi Animator

After trying for an hour with the various links and advice in the original threads both here and at POC, I got it figured out.

1. Go To Palmsource.com.
2. Click on the software tab.
3. In the middle right of the page is the best selling apps. Surpizingly, both apps occupy the top 2 spots:rolleyes:
4. Click on Novi Animator.
5. Click on add to cart.
6. Enter promotional code 10243551.
7. Click update cart.
8. Click continue shopping.
9. Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 above for MobileDB, and use prompotional code 54604165.
10. Click update cart.
11. Continue shopping, or checkout.

I got the Handmark reg code within 30 minutes, and the Novi Animator in a couple of hours.

For those of us truly lazy, follow the following links for each app. You don't even have to enter the promo code:rolleyes: Just use the back button, instead of "continue shopping" to click on the noviianimator link after you have added mobiledb to your cart. Then checkout.

None of the links anywhere worked for me. All I got was your cart is empty pages. Also, the 56404165 promo code only works for Mobile DB. I found the Novi Animator code on the support page at Palmsource, where it shows the free offer.

Just tried the link I posted above this morning and it still works and automatically enters the appropriate promo code.

I got both mine very quickly - within a few minutes it seemed. Unfortunately I could not open the MobileDB e-mail and had to e-mail Handmark and ask them to resend the registration code to a different e-mail address. It took a couple of days for them to do that, but they did respond.

For Novi it took at least 2 days for me, maybe it was 3.

I did it and then didn't check my e-mail, but I had it by the next day, so it's probably in a couple hours range.

I got mine fast, but one of them got shuttled to the junk mail file by Netscape, so I didn't notice it for an hour or so. I'm sure you probably have checked any bulk/junk files you might have, but just in case....

Received the MobileDB code almost immediately and received the Novii code the next day.

PS: You do have to give them a valid email address.:D

I didnt get my codes for days (I signed up as soon as it was posted), well still havent got my codes, so I signed up using my main email address instead of my hotmail one, and got the codes within five minutes:)

Still waiting for my code.. it has been one week today since I requested the reg code. Strange that PalmGear acknowledge my download but Handmark did not... I re-tried again tonight.... guess I will wait another week...:(

The site doesn't ask for your credit card since your order total is 0.

still having probs. There are 2 areas to put in promo code, shopping cart & site wide. I put it in both, in one, then the other, etc. Tried every combo, still has 19.99 in subtotal & want cc.
What is wrong w/ me??

Could be the promo is over. Try following my instructions above. The 24/7 site automatically puts in the promo codes.

Tried it and it looks like the promo is over.
