You probably have an NX73/80v. The CF will work without any drivers, for storage purposes, launcher, ect. It just won't work with Audioplayer, voice recorder, ect...all the built in apps. I use Mini's patched files, and edited them with rscedit so that all the buttons default to the patched appa. All my movie recorder files, voice recordings, ect...default to CF. I obviously also have my MP3's there as well. It's only the NX60's and 70's that need pelacas patch to use the CF slot for ANYTHING other that the wifi card. GOOD LUCK!

Are you sure you didn't leave on of the drivers installed? Cause that is really strange!
