Which one is better. Is it possible to take one of these documents on a memory stick? I want to be able to put it on a memory stick and put the memory stick in the new microdrive adapter. Therefore, it would need to be in a native format in order for a word document to recognize it. I guess I've strayed from the original question but, can either of these do this? If not, what can. And in general, which one would be better for general word and excel use.

Both will do native office documents, stored on the MS just fine.
Personally, i rather quickoffice since it's fontbucket compatible, allowing me to use a foreigner fonts.

Hi folks!

Just stumbled over the thread, so here's my IMHO:

.... used both apps for an extended period of time while taking my Palm as a typewriter substitution at University w/ Stowaway..... worked w/ Premier as well as DTG6 they're both supporting the new native file idea well enough....

switched to DocstoGo when buying my tungsten, because:

- Quickoffice does not address keyboard issues properly, e.g. when You try to skip words by STRG/direction key, an annoying warning appears.... documented and solved issue in DTG

- Full extension support w/DTG... fake support at QO, all the files to be synchronised have to be in handheld RAM

I have to admit that DTG uses more recources and synchronizes longer due to the access of the files saved on the card via the hotsync routine..... apparently that was exactly what I wanted, so HEY!

In short:
-If you care for fast sync and do not enter too long texts, go for QO

-If You simply want to switch from Your PC Keyboard to Your Palm to enter loads of text while concentrating on Keyboard usage, You have to live with the longer sync... Youwill not regret the efficiency plus!

cheers, mat!-)

Thanks guys. Even though I read both sites I wasn't sure which one. It's nice having a place like Cliesource to help out.
