I have long been looking for a PDA email program that supports JPGs. I get images sent to me regularly from a friend ;-) and would like to check it out on my PDA instead of having to wait to get home. I haven't found any luck finding such a program. Recently, I heard about the VersaMail program (on the new Palm Tongue-sten line) which apparently supports Word, Excel and JPG attachments. It is available for sale on the Palm website. Has anyone used this program? I have no intention of leaving my beloved NR70V for a Tongue-sten Palm, so has anyone tried the program on a Clie? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I haven't had any luck with native JPG attachments. The only thing I've been able to do (which is still the best solution I've found so far) is save the JPG attachment to the memory stick, and then view the attachment from a different program.
A plugin would make it much more convenient, but it's still do-able.
I'm happy with Versamail so far. I just wish they had better Hires/Hires+ support. HRFontmapper works well with it, but there has to be a better solution.

I'm using SnapperMail, which comes with JpegWatch Lite. This opens industry standard jpegs.

alsao check out IambicMail (www.iambic.com) .... it's good, and supports sync to Outlook, but has some weird limitations (IMAP isn't as good as POP3 - but that may just be my server; the sync to Outlook isn't very flexible)

Jeremy,
I downloaded the demo version of Imabic last night and tried it out. My big reason for looking for a program is that I want one that will download images from email. I sent myself a few test files of pics of a lady friend. When I downloaded the images on my PDA through IambicMail, about half of her was missing. The bottom half of the image was either distorted or replaced by green blocks. This happened each of the three times I tried it. Have you run into this yourself? I will try it a few more times, but I may have to rule out Iambic if this keeps up.

I've not had problems with JPG images - I use FullScreen (www.swooze.com) for image viewing.
Will give it another try though - are you using JPG or GIF ?
Worth reporting it through the Iambic forums as they often have suggestions quite quickly

I am using JPG formats. I have YiShow installed, so maybe the YiSHow JPG viewer is the problem?

I emailed palm support to confirm if versamail 2.0 was compatible or supported if used on NX70 Clie.
Palm replied that sony has a modified/customized OS5 version and thus Palm believed Versamail would not work on the NX70 nor would they support anyone trying.
They recommended I not purchase the product.
Anyone actually using versamail 2 on their clie nx70?
