This is going to probably be a basic class 101 question but I have only till now used
my NX as a planner...
Ok, I took a few pictures the other day...
I now want to transfer them over to my PC and into a program (what program), to
view as well as maybe take our a few of the imperfections.
I haven't figured out what I need to install as to getting a conduit, so I can sync them
over.
So what must I do:
To get them form my NX to my PC?
Where can I find them (file names) on my NX, so I know what I should be
transferring?
And in the world of XP what is a good program for viewing and fixing the pictures?
Thank you.

install MSExport from the Clié CD.. then use MSImport program in your Clié handheld, XP should then recognize the memory stick as an external drive. just go to \DCIM\watever. you pictures should be there.

photoshop is still the best in fixing pictures, but you won't really notice the improvement since the pictures are quite blurry..

The method cited by MV will work fine. Another possible suggestion is (and I have both available to me here) a MS card reader. Simply slip the MS card out of the CLIE and into the card reader, then the CLIE does not have to be switched on, and the card is then available for read/write from the desktop computer. I have used that method to write some photos taken with my Sony digital cam onto the CLIE's MS, then I can take them along with me to show some folks who might be interested in various ones of them. Also lets me take pics of my new granddaughter and view/show them off as a slideshow! That impresses people!
