Ok guys. What is the best and simplest software for this? I'm talking about stuff you can buy with a nice GUI and ease of use. None of this free stuff that does the same thing but with a 1000 steps, inconsistant results, and overall pain in the butt. I'm talking about some stuff like Cleaner, Adobe Premiere, etc. I'm not exactly sure? Well, what have you guys heard of or use or tried? I'm very interested as I'm sure many of us are.

I'm a big fan of VirtualDub, no need for those fancy expensive video editors.

Yeah, I have that. I've used it for making some Divx movies. How would I easily Burn a DVD with audio in a few steps with consistent results. Try and email me personally as I want this post to be just programs for video compression and burning. Thanks CoolmaX:)

Right now, there is no easy one step proess to convert the audio. VirtualDub is pretty fast in uncompressing audio. Take me about 2~3 mins. Process both streams together to avoid sync problems. I've posted a new thread on how to read VirtualDub with AC3 audio. I'm right now enjoying my favorite clips with my NX, my new HANDHELD ENTERTAINMENT CENTER/ORGANIZER:)
