Are there Palm applications that you would buy in a minute if you could find them?

As an example, somebody in another thread mentioned a TI programmable calculator emulator, but it could be anything: productivity, PIM, database, game, etc.

As a writer, I'd like something that could keep track of what stories I have out and their status: under consideration, rejected or sold.

I supposed I could mess with a database or spreadsheet and make it do what I wanted, but it would be nice to have something already built.

I think that was me :) How about a port of GIMP (a freeware photoshop)? or some program that can be used for better image manipulation (adjust color levels, red eye reduction, etc.) Brian

I've heard through the grapevine that when you are being beamed something and you have Filez open, you are able to set the destination to the card, am not sure though. I use PiMover,  and I'm not sure if it works with that either, cool apps though.

Real handwriting recognition, à la Calligrapher for the Pocket PC. I'd buy an OS5 device tomorrow if I could get Calligrapher on it.

I'd like to see a program like medmath. It is abandonware now. It was a simple programable equation calculator, similar to the currently available medcalc, but it allowed customization. Medcalc does not allow the user to input his/her owb formulas. With mathpad, the user could program any formula wanted and save it in a database similar to memopad.

I would pay for a program that makes the battery last longer. So you can listen to MP3s while working. ;o)

I would pay for these app in a sec:

An app that would let me change fonts in OS 5. like fonthack. My other wish was an icon editor that supports hi res icons. That one is available now. It is called icon manager and it's available at palmgear. I would also want to see hi-res icon sets.

THE program that I am patiently waiting on is the improved version of the AGENDUS desktop application. I currently use DateBk but when AGENDUS makes it possible to lay out various views of the calendar with all of the colors and icons AND is able to PRINT them out so my family can see how busy the schedule actually is, then I will be anxious to switch from DateBk to Agendus. The DateBk guys could really be hurt by this if they aren't already working on a desktop companion. The subject is constantly discussed on the DateBk message boards but it seems like Pimlico just isn't interested.
