ZLauncher 3.70 released

3.70 - 11/04/2003 See detailed update description in "Release History" of the user manual:

* Added support for Pen Input Manager. Now ZLauncher can take the advantage from the virtual graffiti of the handhelds which equips Pen Input Manager, such as Garmin iQue3600.
* Natively support for Palm Tungsten|T3.
* Added support for the 5-Way navigator of PalmOS5.3 or higher. * This feature is also available for Treo600.
* Added support for Garmin iQue3600's Thumb Wheel.
* Added support for viewing JPG/BMP/GIF on card via Resco Photo Viewer v1.3 or later. Resco Photo Viewer is allowed to be stored in the internal memory or in the/Palm/Launcher/ directory of the expansion card. *To use this feature, you need to select Resco Photo Viewer from Display Setup > Viewer.
* Integrated the Zip/Unzip feature of FlyZip. Now you can compress any apps which are stored in RAM. *This feature is only available for FlyZip v2.5 which has been installed in RAM.
* Better compatible with Uninstall Manager's Work in Background feature.
* Added a filter for copying/moving app's related DBs to expansion card when using Move to Card feature.
* Added Copy to RAM/Move to RAM to the Tap & Hold menu when tapping & holding on a PalmOS format file on the expansion card.
* Now you can easily copy/move the PalmOS format files from card to RAM.
* Changed the methods of toggling the system status display(memory, battery, expansion card, date time). Now tap and hold on the button will popup a list for changing the status.

* Updated ZReader Lite to 0.3. Now it natively supports the wide screen of Palm Tungsten|T3, landscape mode of UX50 and Pen Input Manager. This requires ZLauncher 3.70 or higher version.

hm it's only me having having problem syncync zlauncher to my clie ? I simply cannot sync it, and what is evenworse after I synced zlauncher all my addressbook, datebook .. simply all the built in app-dbs are corrupted .. and palm desktop for clie cannot read them!

I even tried to delete zlauncher files from /Backup folder on my computer and "re-install" Zlauncher by copying it form memory stick into RAM, no luck either .. after I try hotsync .. it stops at Synchronizing ZLauncher .. it's in such a state for over 30mins now ..

I haven't had any problems on my NX70. They did fix a screen redrawing issue after using the theme manager.

okey I completly reinstalled my palm desktop and now it works. what all I did just to be able having m y favourite launcher on my clie :-)

I am having trouble using PowerFinance Calculator as the Launch Silk-Calc App..It actually crashes using the built-in calc as the Silk-Calc. Have gone back to 3.62B...It works.

I'm having the same problem on my NR. I get a crash anytime I use the ZLauncher Calculator gadget button to launch the calculator. Same result wheter I use PowerOne Personal or the default calculator. I have no problem launching either calculator using the silkscreen button.:(

I just gave it a try, as I never use that button, and indeed I have a frozen NX70.

Put it in the microwave on defrost for 15 min. That should take care of it.:D

PS: I'm just kidding for those that are too technologically challenged to recognize it. In other words DON'T DO IT.

Same problem here. I'm running an NX70 and the calc button causes a freeze. oh well back to 3.61 until tomorrow.

Damn, now I know I've been gone a long time!

Because I just found out you can open a Wordsmith document from Zlauncher and instead of just opening the WS app it actually opens the chosen doc as well.

What verion was this feature implented in as I don't see it listed here or was it Woprdsmith who fixed it with their latest update?

Anyone know how to adjust the tab area?

I put my tab on the left it only come out with a small area so my tab title are cut halfway, cannot be seen most of the time.

Is there a way to drag the area so I can see more of my tab titles?

I think the old version is not like this, I can see the entire name of my tabs.

You gotta love ZZTECHS! They release a new version with a bug and the same day a updated version with a bug fix comes out. I love you ZZTECHS! How can ZLauncher become better is my question!

I would like a similar feature, allthough I always used top-tab, I now tried rightside, but there's no option to set the spacing (in pixels)

Second, I would like the ability to hide top/bottom bar in the settings (so not with an extra button, wich pollutes my desktop)

I hit an odd bug that 3.70.1 does not address. If I move something to the trash bin and then go to the trash bin, my t615 freezes. The item that I moved to it does not show as a record although there isthe bottom of a very small blue icon in the top left corner in the file name column. I sent an email to ztech but was just wondering if anyone else had this issue.
