This is a question I have regarding which Sony Memory stick I could use to save and playback music on my NX70. According to Sony's website, I believe they said that users will have to use a Magic Gate Memory Stick to playback MP3s in their NX70. Is this true? Can I playback MP3s or other music files using a regular Memory Stick? A little help please...

I have heard that you do NOT need to use the MagicGate MS if you are using MP3s. I do not, however, know how it works...but I'd be really interested to know! Anyone?

Thanks Sacharissa.

Does anyone else use their Clie to listen to music?

I need some help here, as I'm in the process of buying a Memory Stick and I do not want to buy the wrong one. HELP...

Hey, I just found this other thread with lots of good info on using the blue MS for MP3s...Looks like it answers a lot of questions. Enjoy!

You can use the Magic Gate white Memory Stick if you want to. The rest of us mostly use the purple sticks. The MS Gate was mainly for using Sony's proprietary ATRAC3 music format. It is more cumbersome and expensive to use and that you really won't derive any benenfit from!
