Just to let everyone know, COMPUSA has the NX60 for 429$. I went to BestBuy to get mine and they matched the price!

How do you normally approach BestBuy about price matching? They require proof of the other store carrying the NX60 for $429.00 but CompUSA is not advertising it on paper.
thanks

I picked mine up from Compusa for this price yesterday, all the stores near Seattle were low in stock, and now it isn't listed on Compusa's web site. I guess CompUSA is dropping the nx60...

Okay I did it!
Here is the story:
On Saturday I noticed CompUSA had the NX60 for $429 listed on their web site. Since BestBuy does not match internet prices I did not think they would match this one but just in case I printed a screenshot listing the price and model number.
(btw on Sunday I went back to the Compusa web site and noticed the NX60 is GONE! taken off the site!)
Today I went to my local BestBuy with the printout. The guy says; we don't match internet prices. I said I just came back from Compusa and they have it on their shelves at that price. So he gets on the phone calls Compusa and they confirm the price but tell him it is SOLD OUT.
He comes back and tells me "sorry we cannot match, they're sold out".
I asked him to call another compusa but he refused. Luckily his manager was close by. He asked if Compusa confirmed the price, he said YES. Manager then told him to match it!
Now this is where it gets interesting; They had the Sony wireless LAN card for the NX60 but the box had an edge of it opened (about and inch). The sales guy asks me if I want it for $120 since it was an "open box" item (regular price was $149). I said sure I'll take it for $100. And they sold it to me for $99! The card inside was not even touched! still sealed!
BestBuy just rocks!!!
So now I am a proud owner of an NX60... bye bye to my old Palm VIIx

This is actually a common price match policy among retailers. When I worked at Best Buy about 10 years ago, they had that policy in place.
On a side note, I just called the local Comp USA to see if they had stock of the NX60. They didn't, and also said that they show the item as "discontinued". I called the Sony Style sales number to ask if this was true, and the rep told me that he had no indication of the model being discontinued. Has anybody else heard anything?

I've been keeping an eye on NX60 price / availability for the past couple of weeks, and so far it looks like CompUSA is the only major retailer that has stopped carrying the NX60. This is too bad, because I was hoping to get it there for the $430 price.
"Discontinued" could just mean that they have decided not to carry it any longer. Usually a product will experience a price drop at most retailers when it is about to be officially discontinued. As it stands now, most retailers are still carrying it at $499. Perhaps CompUSA doesn't see a point in having two very similar models taking up space.
Of course, there is the rumor that CompUSA is clearing stock to make room for a "replacement" NX60 with OS 5.1 or 5.2. But then why not the NX70V as well? Only time will tell.
As for me, I still have a few weeks before I have to decide. For anyone looking to buy now, I see that techonweb.com has the NX60 for $441, and Amazon.com has it for $449 after rebate through the end of the month.

Thanks blastradius. Looks like Logical Plus (http://www.logicalplus.com) is selling the NX60 for $428. Has anybody shopped there before? The site doesn't look completely professional, which is why I ask.
I got one at this price from Staples two weeks ago. I just printed out the CompUSA website page and they did a price match. Might be a good alternative to bestbuy.
