Anyone know where I might find the first Dune book, in ebook format. If it even exists?

i've also been looking for any of the dune books, specifically chapterhouse: dune, but as far as i can tell, the only ebook available is one of the brian herbert books (frank's son), which i'm not really interested in.

Okay - here's a good one. I unzipped one of the .rar files. And its a 1 meg .doc file. Now, I have Yishow, and it is supposed to read them...but stalls when I try.

Any ideas?

Try saving the .doc file as a .txt file first. Then use something like Makedoc to convert it into a plain text pdb file. This will save you a lot of space.

Makedoc can be found at:

Oh yeah - one last note. The website at www.greylib.align.ru/libfan.htm is not a legit site. It isn't quite warez/crackz, but they have published copyrighted novels without the publishers or authors permission.
