:o I've searched but .... I cannot seem to find any info. on HOW to convert a jpeg file to the PGP or DCF formats. I won't have too many pics to convert, so I don't mind an extra step if it's not too involved.

I have the SJ22, and my wife has the SJ33. She was able to view pics taken by a friends camera (memory stick media I'd think) via CLIE Paint. (I have access to her CD if that'll help)

When I open CLIE Paint, I need to specify resolution ( I select 320X320), then I try to load an image, and the Clie takes me into PG Pocket - where my only options are PGP or DCF (selecting memory stick, where I've copied some jpeg's.

I've tried a couple of shareware/freeware programs, but they tell me, after installing into the devise, that I "haven't registered"... yadda yadda... and they do not work. (I've uninstalled them at this point)

I don't think I want to spend $30 just to amuse myself with a few pics I can view on my laptop -- but I hate giving up too!

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance -- Drew

Both the SJ22 & SJ33 come with PictureGear Lite 4.6 (My wife and I have both models too!). Install it on your computer and follow the instructions.

As Wallyburger said - use picturegear lite and it has a conversion program.

I would suggest a better solution, use AcidImage or RescoViewer since they can view jpegs directly. All you need to do is copy the file into the MS. The advantage is that jpegs are much smaller and easier to copy to and from PC.
