McFile question

Hey,

Someone told me that McFile can be used to erase the sony apps from the ROM image. Anyone know if this is true? Im afraid to try it so I thought Id ask first if anyone has done this.

This leads me to my next question... Whats a good way to backup the ROM image from the clie in case you ruin it and want to reinstall it?

For example, If I deleted my calculator from the ROM and wanted it back later. I ran into this problem once with my old IIIc and cant remember how I fixed it. 'twas just too long ago i guess.

No, McFile can't erase ROM apps. You need a specialized app from www.brayder.com (http://www.brayder.com) . They should have it ready any day now for OS5, one of the apps is called Jack Flash.
