Just bought one - so far I like most of it, but that Launcher is the pits! It's too damn busy.
Question is: is there any way you can dig registration info out of the files? I bought Bejeweled and a hi res upgrade to MahJongg and can't find the printouts I made when I got the codes. The registered versions are sitting in the 615.
Everything else was either freeware or I found the codes.
Thanks

Not sure I can help you with the registrations, but as far as launchers go, have you tried out Zlauncher, Silverscreen or Facer yet? You should give those a spin...

I do use ZLauncher. It must have backed itself up, cause when I tried to reinstall it, all the stuff that was on the 615 came with it. Hung up the TJ35 but good. Had to find the downloaded zip and re-extract, then install. Works great. Funny thing was, some stuff installed with the code and didn't have to re-register, but other stuff didn't. Everything else works, too. Including the mp3 player. Colors are better than the 615. I upgraded for the speed, memory and color. BTW, the Belkin G700 keyboard works wth the OS5 driver.

Hi folks, I understand this model is shipping with Decuma, and also Grafitti 2.0, is that correct? Is this version of Grafitti the same as what Palm has had for years? I'm used to it, very efficient alphabet.
Also, can the Palm 5 launcher be configured to look like the classic Palm interface?
Thanks!

As someone helpfully pointed out to me, you can revert to the standard Palm launcher with Menu|Options|Go To Standard View.

The TJ35 includes Graffiti 1 and Decuma. Graffiti 2 is different from Graffiti 1, the pen strokes for many characters were changed. However, if you know someone with a Tungsten T, you can restore Graffiti 1 onto a TJ35 by copying some prc files over.
There is a menu item in the new Sony launcher that allows you to switch back to the more usual Palm launcher.

It took me about a week to get used to Graffiti 2 but the differences are so slight that it wasn't that big of a deal, I think I even like it better. I am in love with Decuma, it make writing symbols a total breeze!
