Whats up with IRC?

Hey, anyone know the scoop on IRC? there used to be autobotnation /clie, Then it switched to atomicchat /cliemasters, and now thats gone too, anyone know any other channels on irc?

and KnightOWl, if you read this, what exactly is there.com? can I download .mqv videos from there.com? or was this whole thing just a setup for 2 weeks so all the leachers out there would download videos, see that the channel is shut down, read your message, and sign up for there.com, with you on the referal so you could make/save money? please explain the situation

He is looking for viedeo to download, NOT WAREZ, and I think his post made this obvious. Try irc.nullus.net #CLIE, I haven't been there for a while, but huge selection of of video in .MQV format.

I got to that channel and server but I have not been on MIRC for so long I forgot the command set!! How do you list the servers for DCC transfer again? I tried !LIST but that doesn't seem to be it....

Im not asking for warez, and Im not saying its a right, but somthing about this new channel and then there.com sounds fishy to me, like a money making gimmick for knightowl...................

Just went to #clie on nullus.net and it works fine. !list will work if anyone is serving, and there was only one active. They use fserve which is very easy to deal with. Just type the trigger to get on their server.

KnightOWL has had that channel for quite a while, not two weeks, and I have downloaded much content from him and other servers there. I don't know what there.com is, but he probably just got tired of serving. It's mostly a thankless job anyway.

alright, I'll give knightowl some credit for hosting before Cliemasters..........There goes the conspiracy theory..... Although It would be a good way to make money, give crap out for free, get them hooked, get them to sign up to a certain website with your refferal, and get a commision.......

i agree. i mean, i was equally peeved not to see the servers up and running but hosting ain't easy. what if his computer went down where he was hosting the files or something to that effect. and as far as There.com, if you don't like it, don't sign up for it, he might just be doing it to get people in Cliesource involved in something he likes - he has a right. However, I do believe a message stating why everything is down would have been nice to have as a courtesy, but again, be easy on him - I'm sure something is up
