Splash Photo RULES!

It is FAST. It gives you more useful timers in the slideshow then the native app, it can be moved to the MS.

YiShow gives additional features and allow to view image anywhere on the stick compares with SplashPhoto.

Of course, if you only looking for image viewing app with thumbnail, SplashPhoto is the choice.

I like the way I can organize folders on the MS and AcidImage picks all of those up which helps keep all of my pics organized.

So, how do people use SplashPhoto if you have hundreds of pics? I have only used SplashPhoto for a few minutes. But it seems like I would have to have one big image folder, and then sort all of the images into categories using the software. Is this correct? Please fill me in.

Thanks.

AcidImage.. they went HiRes+ & handled native jpg files before Splash (and PhotoStand, and...). So that's what I bought. It's nice.

I like Acid Image better on my Clie, but Splash Photo's Desktop is essential gear for turning my photos into backimages for Zlauncher. There is simply no easier way. Sure there is Photoshop, but I can convert several images using Splash Photo in just the time it take Photoshop to finish loading on my PC.

And the Splash Photodesktop automatically loads the jpgs on to my MS next time I hotsync. All I have to do is copy or move the images to the ZLaucher Backimage directory with McFile.

Splash all the way....
Tried Acid and still drawn back to Splash due to desktop and speed on new version of Splash.

Acid Image by far, I like it's speed, ease of use, and compatibility of most formats. I also have Splash Photo and it's not a bad app. I for some reason prefer to use Acid Image. Maybe it's because it starts with an 'A' and is near first on the list.

Hey guys, this is Tek Phreak, sorry if it doesn't show up registered, i'm on my laptop watchin a movie right now.

Right now i use Acid Image. I WOULD use Splash photo **IF** the desktop software worked in reverse! I don't see why it only goes from desktop to palm instead of palm to desktop?? Considering you take pictures on your palm.... not your desktop... makes sense to me, oh well. And Acid Image can display more pictures per page than splash photo can. I believe it's 30 compared to 20 right? Well if splash could change those 2 things i'd be sold on it, but i doubt that will happen anytime soon. Oh well. For now a faithful Acid Image use i will be.

Enjoy.

I can't believe people actually voted for that built in crap. I can't stand it. AcidImage all the way. never tried splashphoto nor do i feel the need to. acidimage and photoshop 7 are the ultimate combo.

Acid Image is the best pure image viewer for Palm PDA's. SplashPhoto has closed the gap with the newest release by decreasing loading waits, but there are still a few places SplashData will need improve to be on par with Red Murcury's app. The desktop app is the best feature of SplashPhoto, and is the primary reason I have both on my PDA. But if I want to show off a pic to a friend, I use Acid Image every time.

is there a software similar to tt that wud allow me to store jpegs at ram.

when receiving ir, it automatically stores it at ram, thus, the clie os rejects the file.

i need to share jpeg with diff pda users, such as tt owners.

Acid Image...

I found out the hard way 100+ pix of HOW horrible the clie Viewer functions *gag*

I have all types of Image Editing s/w so I had no interest in any DP s/w

Acid Image is faster, directory support, AND I am loving it!!

Was using Acid Image but the new version of Splash is really nice. It's soooo much faster than it was and I own splash wallet so what the heck!
