I have the worst problem with my NX's internal date and time. It's horribly off it seems like every time i look at it. anyone know what could be causing this? no matter how many times i reset it - i can look at it a few hours later and it's jacked. it's making setting alarms pretty much useless...

That used to happen to me also, and I do not really know what caused it... I had suspicions it was a datebook program. So I installed a time sync program and it does not happen any more. Also be sure you only use one time sync program at a time.

yeah it doesn't seem to roll the time very consistently (or subsequently the date) when the power is off... weird. this time sync program sounds like something i should try - could you recommend one or 2?
thanks!

I have used SyncTime for years. I think one of Blue Nomads products, Backup Buddy allows it too. There are others and I believe a thread exists concerning this issue in Clie Apps maybe. World Mate has time sync via WiFi.

yeah i installed time sync - i hope it helps. i mean i have major slide. like 1 min per minute! i mean jeez. i have my NX (besides this problem) exactly the way i want it right now so i'm really trying to avoid reinstalling or trying the really hard way to hunt down what's causing this!!!
if anyone out there knows of an app that could possibly be causing this let me know...

i'm not sure of it being WAY off, but there's something with the PalmOS which makes it slowly go out of sync. i've had this bug as far back as the pilot5000. right now, my clock is probably 8 seconds out of sync every two weeks.
i used to use time sync. now i just tap the atomic clock server button in worldmate and adjust it through my wifi card.

I think megaclock has an option to set the time to the time of your computer every time you hotsync. This works really good for me since my clie doesn't noticeably get off time. And i also have a program on my computer that sets the computer's time with the atomic clock everyday. can't get much more exact than that.

man i hate to be that guy and deliberately move this thread back to the top of the forum but i'm hoping someone out there can help me figure this crap out... talk about the most annoying thing ever. i mean my clock slides off a second for about every second that passes!! i look up and it's hours off... anyone EVER seen anything like this?
